North Sea Living is an inspiring book about living at the sea.
The photographers Diane Hendrikx and Mirjam Bleeker
and journalist Sigrid Vandensavel travelled along the coastline,
from the northern Netherlands to the point where the North Sea
flows into the Atlantic Ocean,
portraying 15 very different dwellings and their inhabitants.
From a picturesque cottage just behind the impressive French chalk cliffs
to an authentic Art Deco apartment on the Ostend seafront,
from a dream villa in the posh coastal town Het Zoute
to a wooden beach house in the dunes of Vlieland.
